A simulated multi-line factory for Litmus Edge: 16 virtual PLCs across four industrial protocols, end to end into Grafana dashboards
The Digital Factory Demo (DFD) is a self-contained, simulated smart factory that customers and sales teams can stand up to see Litmus Edge work end to end.
It runs 16 simulated PLCs (four machines each over OPC UA, Modbus TCP, Siemens S7, and Rockwell EtherNet/IP), ingests their data through Litmus Edge, persists it to MSSQL and MySQL, and visualizes it in a full set of provisioned Grafana dashboards: executive OEE, downtime analysis, energy monitoring, SPC charts, scrap reporting, and process control.
A built-in Simulator Control Center web UI lets you tune each machine live (uptime, fault rates, cycle time, scrap intervals, and more) so you can demonstrate real production scenarios on demand.
Multiple deployment options are included: a standalone Docker Compose stack that brings its own Litmus Edge, an in-LE demo install that runs inside an existing Litmus Edge runtime (online and offline variants), and Kubernetes (k3s) manifests.
This Solution requires a valid Litmus Edge license.
