Four injection molding machines over OPC UA in the EUROMAP 77 shape and the dryer, TCUs and chiller they share over Modbus TCP, where a fault in a shared utility reaches every machine at once.
A contract molder's injection molding cell: two Engel victory 150s on eight-cavity PA66-GF30 tools, an Arburg 570 A on PBT and a Husky HyPET 650 on HDPE, with the utilities they share, a central desiccant dryer, two mold temperature control units and a chiller. 8 devices, 158 tags.
The machines publish over OPC UA in the EUROMAP 77 shape and the utilities over Modbus TCP, which is how a real molding shop is wired. A cause in a shared utility only shows when its reading is joined to the machines it feeds, and Litmus Edge does that join.
On startup, and it removes exactly what it created when you are finished:
None of them trips an alarm, because every shot stays inside the machine's own limits.
