Announcing Tag Formula for Gen 1 and Gen 2 driver tags

Litmus Edge now supports on-the-fly data manipulation using the Tag Formula parameter available to all Gen 1 and Gen 2 driver tags.

Users can derive multiple benefits from manipulating the data at the edge:

  • Save time and compute resources in northbound data processing.

  • Minimize expensive post processing by utilizing edge resources

  • Make integrations easier with the derived data

And the best part, this is a completely no-code approach to data processing.

How does Tag Formula work?

The Tag Formula parameter is an optional parameter available to users when adding tags. It allows users to apply common mathematical operations to the current value of the tag and its timestamp. Here's the list of supported operations:

  • sin

  • cos

  • sqrt

  • tan

  • power

  • log

  • exp
